My Babygirl Community Experience!

Hi, I’m Mrs. Oluwaseun Oluwatosin (formerly Miss Ayoola Oluwatosin), a proud member of the Babygirl Community.

Becoming part of this sisterhood has been one of my best decisions. It’s been a source of support, accountability, and growth. Through prayer partnerships, spiritual exercises, and bonding moments, I’ve learned to open up, grow in confidence, and step out of my comfort zone.

One unforgettable moment was when we organized an outreach for secondary school girls on faith, finance, and relationships. I had the privilege of being a facilitator. Honestly, without the community’s push, I might never have done it but it gave me courage. Speaking to those girls and helping them see their worth gave me so much joy. It reminded me that empowering others is part of our purpose.

When I got married, the community showed up for me supported me, prayed with me, and even sent reps to celebrate. That meant so much.

I’m so grateful for this loving family a circle of women

Honestly, I don’t even know where to start but first, a huge THANK YOU to this amazing group of beautiful, strong, and supportive women (and any honorary baby boys 👀).

When I joined, I thought it was just another WhatsApp group where people say “Good morning ” and vanish till night. Little did I know I was stepping into a life-changing space!

Through this community, I’ve received timely financial help (you literally saved me from drinking garri without sugar 😭). I used the money to start a business that’s growing beautifully. The mentorship, training, and support have also built my confidence, skills, and mindset. And special shoutout to my model, Adesewa, for adding me. you truly wanted the best for me .

To anyone thinking this group is just vibes and cruise my dear, we don’t joke with growth! We laugh, gist, and pepper each other with selfies, but when it comes to support, BGC shows up!

So if you’re still outside the circle, what are you waiting for? Don’t let your destiny helper keep shouting “link in bio” while you scroll o! Come join us and experience love, laughter, and transformation firsthand.

Forever a grateful Babygirl,
Faith Ella Musa

Hello, my name is Deborah Abiola, a proud member of BGC. 💜 Sometime in June, a fashion scholarship was posted on our group. I saw it quite late but miraculously got selected! At that time, I really wanted to attend fashion school, but finance made it hard. So this scholarship was truly a dream come true!

I even had to quit my job because combining part-time school, work, and fashion training was draining. I tried for a week but couldn’t keep up still, it was a worthy sacrifice.

My journey through fashion school was nothing short of beautiful. Though I faced challenges with weekly projects, I had an amazing tutor and a very understanding founder.

Fast forward to my final project — it was miraculously funded by God! My fashion founder spoke about me, and that opened a door of provision. I honestly can’t thank God enough for this experience and the people I met.

This scholarship has truly been the highlight of my year! I’m deeply grateful to God and BGC for making this dream a reality.

Thank you,

I’m especially thankful for the gift of sisters in this community who’ve become like family. Their love, support, and prayers mean so much.

During my internship, I could’ve been exposed to a virus after a colleague tested positive, but after reaching out for prayer, God intervened I stayed healthy.

Another big testimony: God made it possible for me to pursue another degree with ease. I passed the exams, got admitted smoothly, and even when I hesitated to tell my parents, God provided my school fees and every need in a miraculous way.

I’m truly grateful for the love, care, and prayers from my sisters in this community. You’ve been such a blessing to me.

Special thanks to AKL for yielding to God, and to every member of the team
God bless you all richly.

I want to bless God for the gift of the Babygirls Community. I was someone who never had the chance to study God’s word except on Sundays but these wonderful women with the amazing leadership of mama Sewa helped me to understand that God’s word shouldn’t be titled to just a day but should be a daily activity. It should be something you do from the heart because you want to know God more. This community really helped me to appreciate God in a whole and not just as a part and am really grateful and blessed to be a part of such a wonderful gathering.

Hello baby girls
Firstly I will like to give God all the glory for the privilege to be part of a community such as this
Joining the babygirl community has being one of the best decision I made
I’m a fashion designer and for years now have being feeling the need to upgrade and each time I try to save up for it something always happens and I ended up not being able to go for the upgrade
Earlier This year I had already saved up my money for it again something came up again as usual I was frustrated and didn’t know what to do I reached to AkL she reassured me that she was going to help me and see to it that I went for the upgrade, which she did ,she came through for me when I wanted to pay my fees and also during the course of the program,I graduated and ever since then till now my business has never remained the same growth all round
And also my relationship with God before I joined BGC was nothing to write home about but ever since I joined BGC my walk with God has been nothing short of amazing,I’m so grateful for all of the divinely time to time instruction and push to do more
I’m super grateful to God the gift of being amidst women that loves him.

After finishing my diploma programme last year, I didn’t want to stay idle, so I planned to start looking for jobs immediately. Then I saw a message from SewyJay on the group about a clerk job that needed someone with basic to intermediate Excel skills.

I decided to give it a try, applied, and that was how I got connected to the job!

I’m so grateful for the opportunity God gave me through SewyJay and this community. It helped me earn some money and stay productive before furthering my education.

Baking without an oven limited my brand in so many ways 😩 I needed an oven badly, so I started saving up for one because I got tired of baking with gas and pot. 😩

Baking with gas and pot was so stressful! There were times I’d bake till midnight 😩😭 just to meet up with clients orders. I got tired of it, but I didn’t give up. I kept saving and praying that God would help me and send helpers my way. 🙏God did it! 🥳🥳

God answered my prayers by using the Babygirl Community to help my business 😭 I was granted funds to finally get an oven. I’m using this opportunity to say a very big thank you to the founder (AKL), the amazing leaders, and every member of the Babygirl Community

God bless you all for your love and support.

I joined the Babygirls community in December 2023 and wasn’t an active member until I finished school and was looking for a job. At this point, I decided to volunteer as a writer for the Babygirls community. After that, I started learning project management through online short courses.

In February 2025, I was gifted a scholarship for a Project Management course on Udemy through the Babygirls community. I’ve been participating in the course, learning more about project management. Through this, I’ve been able to secure an internship placement as a Junior Project Manager with HEvolve Companion. I also had the opportunity to join a live project, was given responsibilities, and did well. It’s all thanks to the Babygirls community and the scholarship.

I want to say Thank you so much for everything, Momma . She was with us all through the entire process of my mum’s sickness and still with us even after her death. Which I’ll forever be grateful for everything.

I didn’t fully understand what it meant when God said, “I will never leave nor forsake you.” I used to think it only meant that He would be with us in spirit. Little did I know that God can also be with men through men just like He’s been through you, Momma Sewa, and the entire Babygirls .

Thank you so much, Babygirls, for your prayers, love, and encouragement during this time. I believe my mom is in a better place, and I’m certain I’ll see her again one day.

You all are a people uncommon to find,
a people whose worth is far above rubies.

May the Lord reward each and every one of you abundantly .
